Tom Warren finds himself bankrupt and abandoned by his bride-to-be on his wedding day. He escapes town and ends up at a traveling carnival, where he meets Penny, a dancing girl whom he sets his sights on. Tom lands a job as the carnival's high diver and a romance develops between the two. Once Penny realizes Tom comes from high society, she worries she's not worthy of him and wonders if they should be falling in love after all.
This film's got
fight scenes, chorus girls, a clever novelty dance routine, daredevil diving, a murder, pickpocketing, behind-the-scenes carnival intrigue, and a beautiful leading lady. This is also one of the very few movies starring Boots Mallory. Surprisingly interesting and remarkably entertaining. You’ll enjoy Carnival Lady.
Dupont Original Print in excellent shape with only light wear overall. This really is a beautiful print. It's hard to find prints like this....especially films of this vintage. No Vinegar Smell. Comes mounted on two reels.
