    Description

Up for auction is a 16mm Print of
Science in Space (1960) Planet Earth (National Academy of Sciences)
Traces the development of space research; explains the need for satellites, rockets, and other space probes; demonstrates how such tools operate, shows how their findings are reported, and discusses what they have contributed to man's knowledge of space and of the solar system. Includes actual scenes of the assembly of instruments, the launching of satellites, and of the operation of tracking stations and computer centers. Narrated by William H. Terry
Faded color but it wouldn't be that hard to color correct if your intention is to do a color-corrected film scan.
No Vinegar Smell. Comes mounted on a 1200ft reel.
This film appears to be solidly in the public domain. Stock footage opportunities galore in this one!
As always, the pictures above are all from the actual film being offered taken while the print was running on a projector. Film is much sharper than pictures indicate. Some pictures might be more out of focus than others due to the camera used NOT the actual print. We don't ever use stock photos.
Any questions at all feel free to ask and thanks for looking!
