Look! Up In the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superman! You'll be bidding on a 16mm negative for one of the best shows from the early days of television, THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN.
In this episode titled "Superman in Exhile", a nuclear incident leaves Superman glowing with radioactivity and lethal to anyone he's near.
Please be aware before bidding that this is NOT a 16mm Print, it's a 16mm Negative with optical sound used to strike prints from. This can be used to make new prints. No Vinegar Smell. Comes mounted on a core.
Pictured above is what the negative looks like "as is", but I've also included some pictures that I inverted in Photoshop so you can see what they would look like as a positive.
The superhero population seems to grow on a yearly basis, but one name remains an icon. Superman is the quintessential superhero with a legion of devoted fans. There are many unique and unexpected Superman collectibles and this is definitely one of them. Historically it's important to preserve these kinds of things.
