Description
You are bidding on a 16mm silent reel, containing amateur home movie footage from what looks like the 1930s. First, it's a newborn tot and relatives in what looks like Cinecolor. Then, we see an old camp ground, complete with vintage cars and camping vehicle. We also see the occupants. Take a trip to Cape Cod, as you'll see Coast Guard planes, swimmers, and promotional advertisements. Finally, it's a marching parade in what looks like Chelsea, Massachusetts, as well as ceremonies at Chelsea Stadium (with the old Chelsea Clock Co. in the background). The original photographer had some issues with focus, but this vintage print still maintains fun images. The old print is double perforated film stock, and is mounted on a 400' reel. The film begins with an added title card ("Familiar Faces"), and some of the footage looks like it's on the reel the wrong way. Still, the print runs well, and is a journey back in time.
