PLOT:
The cartoon features Hercules, the legendary hero, who dwells on Mount Olympus. Villains threaten the people of ancient Greece,
often in the kingdom of Calydon, and Hercules comes to the rescue.
When in serious danger, he puts on a magic ring which gives him superpowers.
Once he puts the ring on and raises his fist, flashes of lightning (referred to as the Thunder of Zeus in several episodes) strike the ring, and Hercules is then endowed with super-strength.

Here are two very nice condition cartoon prints for your collection. The Mighty Hercules brings back memories, early 1960s classic prints on one reel.

Both films spliced onto one reel are complete with original leaders, titles.
Sharp black and white clarity, density (see pics), loud, clear soundtrack.
Zero VS.
Two nice condition, rare Mighty Herc toons at a bargain price.
Mounted on 1-400' reel as shown.
TRIVIA
:
David Hartman was the voice of Hercules in 1963.
Jimmy Tapp took over as Herc soon after, for the remainder of the series.
NOTES:
Most commercial color 16mm/super 8/8mm prints are Eastman color, which will shift to reddish, orange or pinkish color. Even never opened, brand new/sealed Eastman color prints have color shift. Sharpness ranges from sharp to soft focus with Eastmancolor.
Types of non-fade films are IB Tech and Kodachrome. Films are originally processed in developing chemicals which can break down over time to some degree. Most films will emit a "film" smell which is normal. VS or vinegar syndrome however, is when the film has a strong odor, a limited shelf life and can contaminate other films. We do not sell VS prints unless specified.
Many of our vintage television syndication prints have some lines, dirt, splices including for commercials.
These characteristics are part of the retro enjoyment and fun of watching and collecting motion picture film prints.
