1940-50's Sunbeam T-20 chrome & Bakelite toaster auto drop darkness knob exc.

Sunbeam T-20 as shown.
Toaster is in excellent condition and is being sold as is. Chrome is quite shiny. There are slight scratches a thorough polishing will remedy. Bakelite is excellent. Bakelite also has some slight scuffs and scratches a polishing will cure. I think the Sunbeam lettering originally had white inside, if so it is gone. Cloth outer covering on cord is frayed in a couple of spots but only slightly on the exterior cloth only. Black paint on underside cover is nicked and scratched, but it's on the underside.
I made toast and it worked perfectly. The auto drop for the toast was fun and impressive today and was likely near magic to see in 1950. I set the darkness control for varying shades and it gave me varying shades of toast. Interior is very, very clean. I bought this from the original owners son, it was still plugged in on her kitchen counter. He said "It's in great shape, Mom liked to clean and she didn't eat toast".
