Authentic 16MM WWII General Electric Restricted Training Film "Central
Fire Control System
".
This system was developed and used on the B-29 Superfortress.
The B-29 was equipped with a state of the art, computer-controlled remote fire system that operated five machine gun turrets.
It was so advanced, in June 1945 one crew fought off 79
Japanese
fighter planes, downing 7 of them during a bombing run on Kyushu, Japan.
This film was purchased at an estate sale. The film real measures 12" is almost full with film (9 3/4").
I do not have a projector to verify the working condition of this film, therefore it is being sold "as Is".
The film photos were taken using my phone & appears to be in very good condition.
