this brand new, made in u.s.a., impossible to find style of round, UL approved, cloth covered cord has thermo-insulated (rubberized, not cheap vinyl)18 gauge copper stranded wire. it is cut in a 6' 6" length to give you a FULL 6' cord (standard length appliance cord) after installation of plug (and on appliance). each end is skinned of the cloth overwrap then CUFFED with premium polyolefin 3 to 1 heat shrink to keep the cloth overwrap from ever fraying. on one end is PROPERLY installed a new UL approved antique style plug (the plug is not made in the u.s.) with the cuffed end down inside the neck of the plug. all you have to do is cut/skin the 2 wires on the other end to the appropriate length for your appliance and install any appropriate connectors (loop or fork), then connect to your appliance or appliance cord block and you are set for life. this is a BUY IT NOW & it would behoove you to do so, because you will NEVER find this style of cord cable new again, let alone made in the united states.
every factor has been considered in the making of this cord to assure a LIFETIME of safety and use. the components used in making it are of the highest available quality. from the use of a neck plug so you can grasp the neck to unplug it instead of the cord, to the 3 to 1 premium heat shrink to keep the cloth from fraying out (even INSIDE the plug). you should never have to buy another again. if you don't care about quality or authenticity of the look of your antique appliance, or how long it will last, save a few bucks and buy any cord.
