A very cool older home roaster.  Would have been used on the stove top or fire place.  Possibly on an outside open fire.  Could have been for roasting nuts or coffee beans, or even for small batches of popcorn.  Base is about 6-1/2 by 9-1/2", the drim is about 6-1/2" tall and 5" across. No apparent makers mark.
