"For me, using gloves while I play is of crucial importance. I suffer from a neurological movement disorder known as Focal Dystonia, and without using gloves I simply cannot play. After years of searching for the right type of glove (I've literally gone through hundreds!) that would give me the freedom to move around the fingerboard with as much ease as if not wearing a glove - I found the Musicians Practice Glove® and my search was over!"

Wish I would have known about these when I went through chemo. The nerve damage to my hands was severe for about three months. I still played guitar, but it was painful. It’s great that there is an option for people with medical problems with their hands. - Brian A

I play so much I sometimes peel one and then it hurts like hell to play. I usually super glue them and if it’s bad enough cover it with a bandaid on top of the super glue. With this glove thing the super glue and band aides an Nu Skin is outta my bag for good. Playing with the glove on is funky at first, like playing volleyball in sand, but you get used to it really fast.
If you are a hybrid picker and tear a callous on your picking hand these are a lifesaver. Buy a size too small and then cut off one of the fingers to cover the injury. I slather the finger with NuSkin which helps it heal and keeps the cover from sliding. Zero getting used to it you can play like it’s healed. - M.D. Fisher

I play the bass, and I own a glove. I use it on outdoor gigs when it's so humid that I can't slide my fingers on the strings. It works great, with no change in tone or how clean I am able to play. I just played a gig in a driving cold rain storm and I didn't have the glove with me. I was having a terrible time sliding up and down the neck. My left hand hurt so bad after 3 hrs of playing like that. If I had worn the glove it would have been no issue. - M. Leberman

Can't tell you how game-changing these gloves have been for me. Thank you so much for dramatically improving my playing. - C. Thomas

Are you a musician with sore fingertips due to extended practice sessions, cuts and/ or blisters?  Give your fingertips a break and keep on playing!
Super thin, super durable, sleek, flexible and breathable to keep that natural feel!  The fit is comfortable and snug so that it feels like they are not even there.. like a second skin! Perfect for playing when you have a cut or a blister!
Ultra thin nylon blend is soft and stretchy; fabric wicks moisture and perspiration away from skin to speed evaporation.
One glove works for either hand
You can cut out the thumb if you wish for feel, function and comfort. You can use a small flame to seal the cut threads.
Why not buy 2! : use one for the fingering hand and the other for the picking/ plucking hand OR.. give one to your private students to give them one less excuse for not practicing!
It is washable, but use cold water and drip/air dry as the dryer will shrink it.
Sizing: (according to approximate middle finger height from its base to the tip). It is better to lean more toward the smaller size for proper “2nd skin” fit!

    TRUE STORIES:
A while ago my fingertips were getting a bit tender as I was preparing over extended hours for an Orchestral Bass audition when I discovered this special glove.  I gained renewed endurance, it felt so natural and gave me an intuitive, enjoyable sense of fluid playing and shifting.  Some genres/ works call for excessive right hand plucking/ pizzicato. (such as the Double Bass part in Bernstein’s
    West Side Story Symphonic Dances
)  This glove lets you dig right in, even play through blisters!
I also played a "Dixieland" jazz outdoors event some time ago on upright bass and accidentally ripped a piece of skin from a quick-forming blister on an alternate plucking finger.  A band aid and the glove got me through that just fine!

    ADDITIONAL INFO:
Some string musicians report that they have acidic sweat from hands & fingers expiring strings faster that usual.  This glove can assist in this problem.  Some musicians report a disease called Focal Dystonia. This disease is a neurological condition that affects a muscle or group of muscles in a part of the body and causes involuntary muscular contractions or twisting due to misfiring neurons in the brain. Unfortunately the hands can be affected by this condition and can get to the point where one can barely play a major scale. For some that could mean their life as a performing musician is over.  The gloves act as a sensory trick.  After trying playing with gloves they could feel there was a definite change within the hands while playing, enough to continue life as a performing musician!
This glove is also ideal if you have a chronic skin condition due to medical treatments, or a nickel allergy, as many strings are nickel-based.
