    Description

Quintet of Vintage Canadian Coins: 1919 Silver 25 cent; 1953 Silver 10 cent; 1953 5 cent; 1970 25 cent; and 1988 Loonie dollar.
The five cent is made of nickel, and while not valuable, is part of the storied 1953 nickel series in which 8 variations were struck (based on shoulder strap visibility, spacing of the maple leaf on the reverse side, and presence/lack of chrome).
The 1919 25 cent piece is sterling (.925) silver, and the 10 cent piece is .800 silver. The 1970 25 cent piece is made of nickel, and the Loonie dollar is nickel-bronze.
As you can see from the photos, the much older 1919 coin is well worn. The other four coins are in much better shape and all have been out of circulation for years, as they were collected while traveling outside the US. All five coins have been stored carefully, by one owner, and never sold.
These items will be carefully packaged and shipped to you in bubble wrap to preserve the condition you see them in the photos.
