RARE VINTAGE EARLY ELECTRIC CHROME TOASTER, LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK, 1915 NO CORD

Description

I have never seen a toaster like this. It is an early electric model made with chrome and possibly steel. The sides have springs and can be manually opened to insert the toast. I think the circles on the top might be to hold and keep the already toasted ones warm. On the bottom it shows that it is a Universal, made by Landers, Frary & Clark, Conn, USA. It has multiple patent dates: 1906, 1912, 1913 & 1915. The cord is missing, so I don't know if it works. Regardless, it is a wonderful example of early ingenuity, a great decoration and conversation piece.
I have not done any cleaning, leaving that to the new owner.  Please look at all the photos as part of the description. It is very heavy and will cost more to ship from Oregon.

I enter the actual weight of the package and E Bay calculates how much it will cost to go from my zip code to yours. My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items broken, the post office is not very careful I've discovered. If something arrives and the box looks like it's been mishandled, please take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send these to me so I can start a claim. You will receive your refund but you will need to hold on to the item and the packaging until it is settled.
