Rare Vintage SUPERELCTRIC TOASTER Series 68 w/Original Cord Plug – WORKS!

Up for sale is a Rare Vintage Electric Toaster. The bottom is stamped “SUPERELECTRIC MADE BY SUPERIOR ELECT PROD CORP NO. 68 SERIES” (It is difficult to tell if the series number is 66 or 68 due to rust on the bottom of the toaster).The toaster has its original cord and plug – 15” long with Bakelite plug attachments. I did risk plugging it in and it does work. Both sides of the stainless steel toaster open to allow toasting 2 slices of bread. The door handles and the feet of the toaster are made of wood.
CAUTION: Toaster does present a shock hazard when plugged in as plug is missing safety cover, and heating element is not insulated.
This is a pre-owned / used item and are in Fair to Good Condition – toaster does work.
The stainless steel is corroded (rusty and pitted) and could use restoration to return to shiny new finish. Being offered as found.
