As with all quilting, good work is accomplished with neat, accurate templates.  Templar will replace the plastic template material and the postar board for the press technique, taking you right to a pressing template.
Lets you cut a pattern from the Templar, draw around your template on the wrong side of the fabric, center the Templar on your fabric, apply some spray starch with your finger or a Q-tip to the edges, and press your applique piece over the edge of the Templar.  Let dry, remove the templar to use again and again.  You are left with a perfectly shaped piece of fabric, ready to applique onto your design.
