Not wanting to break any of the post office rules for shipping, I have opted NOT to include the razor blade. Check the picture for the blade placement. This is made of laminated woods, hence the beautiful contrasts in the upright portion of it. There is a magnet inside, so once you insert the blade it will not fall out, but can easily be removed with a straight pin. It uses a standard single edge razor blade. The base size of this is 3" x 4". It has a high gloss polyurethane finish. It also has a "non-skid" base. It is really hard to keep this item in Stock!!  This auction is for one
FREE STANDING THREAD CUTTER for strip piecing
.  The blade  is not included. Not wanting to break any of the post office rules for shipping, I have opted NOT to include the razor blade.  Check the picture for the blade placement.  This is made of laminated woods, hence the beautiful contrasts in the upright portion of it.  Because they are all hand made, the colors and thickness of the woods may vary from batch to batch. Look at the listing picture and also scroll clear to the bottom, which is pictures of a different batch.  Yours may differ slightly, but they will all be basically the same.     There is a magnet inside the laminated wood, so once you drop the blade in, it will not fall out, but can easily be removed with a straight pin. It uses a standard single edge razor blade.   The base size of this is 3" x 4" and the overall height is about 4"  It has a high gloss polyurethane  finish.   It also has a "non-skid" base.  This is perfect for cutting apart your "chains" of pieces when making multiples for quilting.
