Condition: Excellent vintage condition: the chrome is shiny, the bakelite is intact, the "lighter/darker" button is also intact, and the cloth-covered cord looks great. And it works! Sort of: you can put bread in it and the toaster will lower it and raise it back up, but it doesn't toast...which means the heating coils are kaput. Still, it's great looking!

This is a gorgeous, shiny chrome vintage "Powermatic" automatic toaster....
you don't have to press down a lever to toast your bread; just insert the bread, plug in the toaster, and the toaster does the rest!
In theory, at least: the toaster works, but it doesn't toast: see above for details.
Still, it's great looking, for display to brighten up your kitchen!
(and it's so shiny, you can use it as a mirror--which made it very difficult to photograph!)
