    Toaster Proctor & Schwartz
    This listing is for a 1930's Proctor &Schwartz TURN-O-MATIC toaster model #1453 manufactured by the Proctor &Schwartz Electric Co. Philadelphia PA.. This appliance is in amazing condition considering it's age. The chrome doors open with ease for loading two slices of bread (one on each side). This toaster comes with the original cloth insulated electric cord and the toaster still works. Even though it works, I would not recommend anyone use a toaster of this age for safety reasons. Each door has the original two little wooden knobs on them. The chrome on the outside of the toaster is still nice and shiny. The toaster has an art deco style to it both in shape and the design on the doors. This great little toaster would look great as a decoration in any kitchen.  This item is for display only.
