Vintage 1949 SUNBEAM 2 Slice Model T-20 Automatic Drop Radient Electric Toaster
Double slice electric toaster
Decorative line motif engraved on the 2 larger sides
Metal - Chrome plated with molded side handles and base
Both side handles are debossed with the Sunbeam logo
Black plastic temperature knob is under one handle which reads: Lighter/Darker to adjust brownness of bread
Black rubber electric cord
The bottom of the toaster has an attached silver metal plate which can be opened to help clean the crumbs from inside.
Last Number on the bottom tray shows: Patent 2459170.  According to my research it was manufactured on January 18, 1949
This toaster is in very nice shiny condition.  All 4 feet are present on the bottom. I put bread in and it dropped just as it should (see pics).  The outside is in VG condition.  Nice and shiny from all sides.
If you look very close you can see some light all over marks from it being previousely cleaned.
I do see one light scratch on one side about 2" long (have to turn it just right to see it) and a light mark that goes about 4" down the center.  This must have been the side against the counter.
No dings or cracks

There are some warnings on the bottom of this toaster
Toaster is only to be plugged in to a wall receptacle.  Not to be used with an extension cord or a plug in stick you may use on your countertop to charge your phones and such.
Please unplug the toaster when you are finished using it.
This toaster heats very quickly and stays hot for a longer period of time, just as they did back in the time period they were used.  The cord also gets hot, just like the old days.
Please use caution when using it to prevent burns to you and overheating of the toaster or plug.

Our small rural post office was one of the offices that the USPS CLOSED on Saturdays. There are no employees there to accept or ship your packages.
Also: Your item may be picked up now by our rural carrier on Monday, but it will not actually be scanned to ship until Tuesday.
My RURAL POSTAL CARRIER picks up my packages on Monday, but is not scanning them until Tuesday when the USPS truck actually arrives at our post office to pick them up.  If you purchase after 12 Noon CST on Friday (my pick up time), your shipping label may be made with your tracking number and set out on Monday, but it will not get SCANNED OR SHIP until Tuesday.
