Vintage Chrome Bakelite Toastmaster Automatic 2-Slice Pop Up Toaster 1B14, works

Vintage Toastmaster 2 slice toaster with original cord
Beautiful toaster from the 50's or 60's.
Has brown bakelite handles and chrome finish.
The chrome finish looks good, just has the normal scratches from use.
Tested on 3 pieces of bread at lowest, medium and highest settings....see picture for the results (spoiler...they look great!)
It clicked when the toast was done but didn't pop all the way up without a little tap on the handle.
Does it just need to be used more?    Or adjusted?    Or just live with the quirk?    Your guess is as good as mine.
It's a cutie and just waiting to be part of your vintage kitchen for years to come.
