VINTAGE Chrome Toaster. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
The two slice toaster is not labeled but the Large S on the side indicates it was probably made by the Scovil Mfg. Co. of Waterbury, CT.
The toaster is in very good shape with no scratches, dents, or imperfections. The cloth cord is in remarkable condition for the age of the toaster.
It is fully operational and as its indicators show, it will make your toast “Light” or “Dark”. There is a clicking sound when the toaster is operating. But this does not affect the cooking of your bread. Every slice is cooked perfectly.
The brown handles are celluloid as is the toasting indicator. Both are representative of the Art Deco era. The toaster is unique in that it is functional as well as attractive. It would be a fine addition to any collection or to just place in your kitchen.
