Vintage GE General Electric Waffle Toaster 24G42 Chrome Art Deco Lo Med Hi Works

For sale is a classic vintage waffle toaster maker from the estate of a local collector who had amassed over 200 toasters! This is a RARE General Electric Model 24G42 waffle and Panini Maker / Toaster,  which features a lower heated surface, and a heated lid that can be lifted, adjusting to the size of sandwich or snack item to be toasted. The lower plate can be flipped to toast either a waffle or sanwich. This toaster features a classy chrome finish with a bakelite-style handle in a cool design.  It has heat adjustment at low, medium and high settings, and it stands about 5" tall. I tested this, and both bottom and top surfaces heat up nicely.  The chrome surface has some scratching. I see a tiny bit of edge wear on the handle, but it is otherwise undamaged. Below the lift top handle, on the base, I see two holes, and it appears that there may have been some other kind of small handle there that is missing.  It has a vintage cord in nice condition, but I don't know if it was original to this waffle toaster. I have an an outstanding record shipping fragile electronics, and this will be packaged carefully for safe delivery. The shipping weight is 9 pounds.
