Vintage Sunny Slope Carolina Peaches Fruit Crate Box with
Paper Car Label
Here we have a large vintage wooden fruit shipping crate that was once used to transport Carolina Peaches out of Sunny Slope farms in Gaffney, S.C..
Features its original full color graphic paper label (which features a very old racing automobile), as well as stamping on the wood itself.
This is in good used condition, especially considering the age and application of the piece. Estate found. Shipping crates like this weren't exactly cherished, so to find one in good shape with its original paper label is not exactly common. There is some wear and discoloration in the label from age and storage over the years. If you aren't satisfied with the quality of the paper label, there are new old stock labels that are available to purchase. Crate has some general wear and tear and discoloration you'd expect of a piece like this, including some dust/dirt from storage. A few small splits in the boards, as well as a chip in the front top edge of the piece. Being sold exactly as it is pictured above.
Measures approximately 20" long x 12" wide x 11 1/4" tall.
This is an excellent rustic/primitive decor piece, or a great addition to your collection.
