Vintage Toast-O-Lator J Toaster for Repair
Toaster is offered for parts or restoration. When powered on the heating elements come on intermittently. One of the terminal nuts has been replaced and the terminal is loose. There may be a poor connection. The motor hums but does not run. Mechanism moves when turned by hand but feels stiff / gummed up. There is a lot of dirt / food residue on the interior. Power cord is dirty and is degrading where it enters the toaster. Plug has been replaced.
Chrome finish is dull and has a lot of scratches and wear. See photos for details of condition. Bakelite base finish is somewhat dull. There is a crack near the bottom on the cord end (see photo #5), and a crack in the middle at the top that isn't very visible on the outside. Some small chips in the base.
