    Description

Vintage Toaster with two hot plates/coffee carafe warmers.  Amazing retro design, I can picture this on the back counter of a diner from the 40s or 50s.
I was able to find some pictures of vintage machines for sale on eBay (current or in the past) that were combinations of single hot plate/toaster oven, single hot plate/toaster/toaster oven, toaster oven/griddle, but not anything currently for sale like this one.  The toaster has a hole in the back with a grommet which makes me think it might have been sold separately by the manufacturer, and then someone came up with the concept of putting it in between two burners - it has a great, balanced look to it, very eye catching.
There is no maker's mark or label.  I found a picture of a similar one on line that said "Sheridan Electronics" but that doesn't seem correct to me.  There are hot plates with almost identical ceramic tops made by Silex, but nothing that combines them with a toaster. If anyone knows who made this, please let me know, I will update the listing.
The toaster is manually operated with the lever in the front.  There is no automatic pop-up function, the toast is just lowered and raised by hand. There is an on/off switch for the toaster.
The hot plate on the left has its own on/off switch and appears just to have one heat setting where all the coils heat up.
The hot plate on the right has a "low" and a "high" switch - when both are in the up position, both coils heat up; when only the "low" is in the up position, the inner coil heats up (it doesn't glow but it does give off a mild amount of heat).
It is in great condition overall.  In some areas, mostly around the burners, there are spots where the chrome has discolored and/or worn off.  There is also minor discoloration around the seams (for example, around the top of the toaster) and the base of the toaster.  There are hairline scratches and scuffs but overall, the chrome is is still very shiny and reflective.  The inner coil on the right burner is twisted in a couple spots but still generates heat. The handle on the right is a replacement.
Please let me know if you have questions or would like additional pictures.
