    Description

    This is an ethnic carved wood figurine (flat sided with an easel on the back) - from an estate sale.  It has original price tag on the back - stands about 4 1/2 inches tall - has abalone or paua shell eyes.  Other similar pieces list this as a Maori, Polynesian New Zealand Moko Hei Carving - maybe matai or moana wood?  It's in very good condition - not sure of exact age.
